Students of Lindsie Manzer at Willard Elementary created a work of art that may be seen by millions of Iowa State Fair goers. The creation, based on a design by 5th grader Keila Cerda, is now on the east side of Fairground Hardware, across from the State Fairgrounds. Students who attend a Title I school in Des Moines like Willard may be eligible for tutoring services at no cost to their family.
