Iowa School Performance Profile

We have great news!  Willard Elementary School received a “commendable” rating from the Iowa Department of Education on our Iowa School Performance Profile.  This profile shows how schools perform on multiple measures, including, among other things:  student growth, student proficiency, conditions for learning, attendance and progress on state goals.  Willard received a score of 55.01%, on this year’s report card which is above the state average of 54.91% Only four other Des Moines Public (elementary) Schools scored higher than Willard!  We are so proud of our staff, students and families for your hard work!
