There is a strong link between student attendance and academic achievement. Regular and punctual attendance is essential for your child to receive the maximum benefits from the education that is provided here at Willard Elementary School.  We encourage you to make appointments during breaks or after school. Time absent from school (this includes arriving late and leaving early) will be accumulative and count against your child’s attendance.  If your child needs to be absent from school for any reason, please contact our school office prior to 8:00 a.m. on the day of the absence. An answering machine is available to take messages before 7:15 a.m. Please leave your child’s name and the reason for the absence in your message.

School hours are 7:45am to 2:40pm.  Your student needs to be their classroom by 7:45am or they are considered late.
